You saw me before I was born

I am not one who can ably recite biblical verse from memory (in my defense, I don't know too many other Catholics who can). However, I thought this verse was touching, meaningful, and relevant. I still cannot recite this from memory, but I can copy and paste:

Psalms 139:13-18 “You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous – and how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me BEFORE I WAS BORN. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O’ God! They are innumerable! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up in the morning, you are STILL WITH ME!”

What a comforting feeling.

I'm sorry for the loss of your little one. We repeat that bible verse in our heads often and even wrote it on our daughter's box that was buried with her. If you ever need to talk, feel free to contact me.

I have come in here to ask you if you received my emails. I have photo's for you of E's name in the sand. I have been trying to send them to you but I think you haven't been receiving them. :( Maybe my emails have gone to your junk box. I am not sure

Sending you my love
